Green Point is a food and cosmetic scanner app for iPhone and Android. Scan the barcode of a product to see how healthy a food is or how safe the ingredients of a cosmetic are, with a clear score and the reasons behind it.

Open the app and point your camera at the barcode. Green Point recognizes whether it is a food or a cosmetic and shows the matching analysis in seconds. You can also search for any product by name.

Green Point is free to download and includes free scans and searches every day. Premium unlocks unlimited scans and searches, plus extra skincare insights such as which skin types a product suits. The full Skin Scan analysis is a separate one-time purchase.

Take a photo of the nutrition table (food) or the ingredient list (cosmetics), then of the front of the pack. Green Point reads the label and calculates the score for you.

It reflects the risk level of every ingredient in the formula. The higher the score, the better.

Open the app and point your camera at the barcode on the package. The result appears in seconds: the A to E grade, the nutrients, the additives, the processing level and the allergens.

A (Excellent) and B (Good) are the best choices, C is OK, while D (Poor) and E (Bad) are products to limit. The grade combines nutritional quality, additives and organic status.

Every additive (E-number) has a risk level: no risk, limited risk, moderate risk or high risk.

Yes. Each food shows its processing level in four groups, from unprocessed or minimally processed foods to ultra-processed foods, together with the processing markers found in its ingredients.

Yes. You see the allergens and possible traces listed for the product, plus whether it is palm oil free, vegan or vegetarian.

Yes. Switch between values per 100 g and per serving at any time. Sugars, salt, saturated fat, protein, fiber and energy are each rated from low to high.

Scan the barcode on the bottle, tube or box. Green Point shows a score out of 20 and the full ingredient list, rated ingredient by ingredient. If the product is not in the database yet, take a photo of the ingredient list and Green Point analyzes it for you.

Yes. Tap any ingredient to read why it got its rating, what it is used for and its possible risks. Premium also shows the benefits of a product and which skin types it suits.

Yes. You sign in with Apple or Google, which keeps your scan history and your shelf linked to your account.

The app is available in 21 languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian and Greek. You can switch the language in Settings.
