What the food scanner checks

Every scan breaks a product down into the things that matter for your health, not just the calories.

An A to E health grade

One clear grade from Excellent to Bad that combines nutritional quality, additives and organic status.

Nutrients, rated

Energy, sugars, salt, saturated fat, protein and fiber, each rated from low to high, per 100 g or per serving.

Additives and their risk

Every E-number in the product is listed with its risk level: no risk, limited, moderate or high.

Processing level

Four groups from unprocessed to ultra-processed foods, with the processing markers found in the ingredients.

Allergens and traces

See the allergens and possible traces declared for the product before it ends up in your basket.

Organic, vegan and palm oil

The analysis shows if a food is organic, palm oil free, vegan or vegetarian.

Open the app and point your camera at the barcode on the package. The result appears in seconds: the A to E grade, the nutrients, the additives, the processing level and the allergens.

What does the A to E food grade mean?

A (Excellent) and B (Good) are the best choices, C is OK, while D (Poor) and E (Bad) are products to limit. The grade combines nutritional quality, additives and organic status.
